July 29, 2005 - Vernon, BC – Kerry Micks, driving his PowerWater 2005 Micks Motorsports Ford, will make his first appearance at Sun Valley Motor Speedway this weekend when the CASCAR Super Series visits the scenic half-mile tri-oval in Vernon, British Columbia’.
“I’ve always said my favorite track is anything new that’s a challenge,” said the Mount Albert, ON, driver. “Well, we’ve never been to Sun Valley Motor Speedway so I guess it’s time to put our PowerWater Ford where my mouth is.”
Micks, with three wins this season in the PowerWater Micks Motorsports Ford, sits in third position in the 2005 CASCAR Super Series Points Championship.
“We had a good trip so far”, added Micks. “We spent the first couple of days after Calgary completely going over the PowerWater Ford. After that we were able to take a couple of days off. Rob Harrison of Performance Driver Services Inc. arranged accommodations for the Micks Motorsport Team at Marble Canyon & Fairmont Creek Deluxe Condominiums in Fairmont Hot Springs, British Columbia. It was great to spend some quality time with the team golfing, fishing, white water rafting and just kicking back and relaxing.”
