"I've only heard great things about Race City; it should be fast and fun."July 18, 2005, nisfil, ON - Central Merchant Services driver Tara MacLeod will take her PowerWater Rookie of the Year lead to Race City Motorsport Park and Sun Valley Motor Speedway over the next two weeks as the CASCAR Super Series heads to Western Canada.
"I'm real excited about taking our Central Merchant Services entry to western Canada," stated MacLeod. "To be able to compete in the CASCAR Super Series National Tour is a dream come true. I've only heard great things about Race City. It should be fast and fun."
MacLeod currently leads the PowerWater CASCAR Super Series Rookie of the year standings, and is 16th in the 2005 CASCAR Super Series Points Championship.
"The guys are really looking forward to competing in the Super 8 Motel Pit Stop Competition at the Eau Claire Market on Thursday before the MOPAR 500 Weekend," added MacLeod.
The CASCAR Super Series, MOPAR 500 Weekend at Race City Motorsport Park, a high-banked, half-mile oval, at Calgary, Alberta will take place July 22-23.
