Sunoco Ron Fellows Karting Championship presented by Toronto Star Saturday class wrap up

HAMILTON, ONTARIO Cameron Motorsports Park in Hamilton, Ontario, hosted round 4 of the 2005 Sunoco Ron Fellows Karting Championship presented by Toronto Star Wheels. And on Saturday, the action was fast and furious. For Cameron Motorsport's Mike Vincec, it looked like a repeat of round 2 at Sutton where Vincec won both Formula Junior and Rotax Max Junior. Other winners were Jonathan Treadwell in Canada Junior Light, Addison Rayner in World Formula Junior, and Pearce Herder in Canada Senior.

Formula Junior
Cameron Motorsports CRG driver Maxime Pelletier took the first Pfaff Fast Qualifier of the day. First to the flag of the 22 lap final was Cameron CRG driver Michael Vincec. Second went to poleman Pelletier, and third was Cameron Motorsports CRG driver which completed the sweep of the podium for Cameron Motorsports Kyle Marcelli.

Rotax Max Junior
Sodi Kart's Brad Forbes took the Pfaff Fast Qualifier award in Rotax Max Jr. Forbes went on to finish second behind Cameron Motosports CRG driver Michael Vincec, who took his second win of the day. Third went to PTK's Dylan Gibson.

Canada Junior Light
Birel's Jonathon Treadwell took the Pfaff Fast Qualifier award in Canada Junior Light. Treadwell went on to win over second place man, Gold Kart's Vincent Rago and third went to Birel's Mitchell Casey.

World Formula Junior
Team Hurricane had a clean sweep of the World Formula Junior pole and podium. Addison Rayner took the Pfaff Fast Qualifier award and the win. He was followed by Barrie Grand Prix winner Jeff May, and Joshua Korenyi.

Canada Senior
Gold Kart's Pearce Herder in his first year of Senior competition took it to the veterans at Hamilton by taking the Pfaff Fast Qualifier award and the win. Herder's Gold teammate Aaron de Heus was second and Birel's Jennifer Rempel was third.

The GM Winners Circle award for outstanding skills and sportsmanship went to Simcoe Kart Club's Jonathan Treadwell for his clean sweep in Canada Junior Light.

The objective of the SRFKC is to help foster a professional environment for kart drivers; help create a positive attitude towards appearance, conduct and discipline; help foster the employment of the best practices for the safe and fair running of competitions; and help kart drivers to move up the racing ladder to automobile racing.
