SOD BOASTS EIGHT DIFFERENT WINNERS IN TEN EVENTS DURING FIRST HALF OF 2005

With the halfway point of the 2005 Season looming, the Engine Pro, Sprints On Dirt series presented by Total Seal is enjoying one of its most competitive seasons in recent memory.

SOD has attempted thirteen events to date in 2005 with rain and cold temperatures claiming the opener at Crystal Motor Speedway April 30th. Rain also claimed the first scheduled appearance at I-96 Speedway on May 13th along with the first “Canadian Wilderness Tour” event at South Buxton, Ontario on May 28th.

During the ten events that have been successfully completed, car counts have averaged 36 including a season high of 69 at Fremont Speedway May 21st for the running of the second annual “SOD/Fremont 305 Challenge”. Eight different drivers have visited victory lane with “A” Main wins including current point leader Tim Norman along with Ohio Veteran, Tim Hunter as the only two to double.
