Sodus, NY - It is with great regret that the Central New York Mini Sprint series management announces the cancellation of its race date at the Brighton Speedway on Saturday, August 13th. Tightened border security has made it very difficult and time consuming for race teams venturing across the US/Canada border in recent weeks. This decision is made exclusively by the CNYMS management team after consultations with its competitors.
Brighton Speedway management is disappointed by the decision, but they understand the circumstances.
"We regret this decision," stated CNYMS Director of Promotions Mike Emhof. "We were looking forward to a Canadian leg to the tour and putting on a great show for the Brighton fans.
