BROCKVILLE-Things will be hopping at the Beast of the East this weekend as Brockville Ontario Speedway gears up for its busiest weekend of the summer. The fast quarter mile on County Road 29, just North of Brockville will feature three events in as many days starting on Friday night and going right through Sunday evening.
Things kick off with a regular four division stock car program featuring the 358 Modifieds, Sportsman, Street Stock and Rookies on Friday night, July 29th at 7:30 pm. Track officials are also hoping to be able to give stock car fans, a sneak preview of what they can see on Saturday and Sunday nights as well.
Saturday and Sunday nights the track welcomes some of the stars of Monster Truck racing back to the Brockville track where a special course will be constructed on Saturday morning, July 30th. The gates to the track will open at 5:30 pm for a special pre event party before the carnage begins at 7pm featuring trucks like Hot Wheels and Brutus. The Monster Trucks will be back for round 2 at the same times on Sunday night, July 31st.
Tickets have been going fast, but they are still available for both shows through the track office at 613-348-3998, or at McEwens Fuel in Johnstown or JB Kelly Insurance in the Kensington Mall in Brockville or at the track itself throughout the weekend.
