FINAL SMALL CAR DEMO CONCLUDES HINGSTON METAL RACELINE SUPER FAN KICKOFF NIGHT AT MERRITTVILLE

THOROLD, ONTARIO … An action-packed DIRT Weekly Racing Series event at Merrittville will conclude with a Small Car Demolition Derby Saturday August 6th at the Thorold speed plant presented by one of the newest event sponsors – Hingston Metal Fabricators of St. Catharines Ontario.

“race fans can look forward to some real exciting metal fabricating with our final Small Car Derby,” relates (GM) Erica Bicknell, “and some real exciting racing action too.”

Hingston Metal Fabricators – who celebrated their 50th year of operation in 2003 – will present the special night that will feature racing in all DIRT Weekly Racing Series divisions – the L. St. Amand 358 Modifieds, Original Pizza Logs Sportsmen, Dwarf Cars/ Mod Lites, Hoosier Stocks and the Turn 4 Collision 4 Cylinders.

Hingston Metal Fabricators specialize in flame cutting, custom punching, shearing, expansion joints (metal and fabric) sand blasting, press braking and aluminum and stainless steel welding.

Although the night will conclude with the final Small Car Demo – one Big Car Derby remains – Sunday September 11th – the finale of the Konzelmann Estates Winery 100 lap Enduro – also the grand finale of the season.

For the remainder of the season – race fans will be able to fill out a ballot to win the Raceline Radio 105.1 The River Super Fan Contest that kicks off as part of the Hingston Night.

On September 10th – during the J&S Heating Weekend, one ballot will be picked and the winner will receive two tickets to the NASCAR Nextel Cup Race at the Lowe’s Motor Speedway in Charlotte North Carolina in October.
