With a victory and a third place finish in the first two oval track events on the schedule Beauchamp will be one of the favourites to win. "We had a very good test at Barrie and I think we'll have a good car for the race" said the pilot of the #60 Mopar Parts Charger.

Friday night activity also includes; a display of CASCAR haulers and cars.

Racing action at the newly reconfigured 1/3 mile "D" shaped oval at Barrie Speedway begins Saturday night with the Power Water Series 100 lap event plus qualifying for the CASCAR Super Series teams and other support series. Sunday features the stars of the CASCAR Super Series with the Dodge Charger 300 presented by the Dodge Dealers of Ontario. Spectator gates will open Sunday at 11AM and the green flag waves at 2PM.
