June 19, 2005, Oshawa, ON - Kerry Micks, driving the PowerWater 2005 Micks Motorsports Ford, finished in 14th position on the 2.5-mile, 10-turn road course on Sunday at Oshawa, Ontario's Mosport International Raceway CASCAR Super Series "Berms-R-Us presents the Clarington 200.”

"We were running great, the PowerWater/Melody Homes Ford Taurus was strong all day," explained Kerry Micks. "We were wrecked by the fourth place car on what turned out to be the end of the race and ended up finishing 14th."

Don Thomson Jr. won the Berms-R-Us presents the Clarington 200 at Mosport, followed by Jeff Lapcevich in second and J.R. Fitzpatrick in third.

"It's always disappointing when you have problems that late in the race," added Micks. "The car was working great and we looked like we were in good shape after qualifying fourth and starting on the second row. At one point during the day we went from 18th to third and were able to lead a lap early in the race."

The PowerWater Micks Motorsports Ford driven by Kerry Micks currently holds seventh position in the 2005 CASCAR Super Series Points Championship.
