June 27, 2005 - OSCAAR Outlaw teams have been working very hard to prepare for the next race at Mosport Speedway, Saturday July 2. Action at Sauble Speedway was fierce and repairs were required for a number of cars. Early reports are good news for a healthy car count.
Fans are looking forward to the fast and exciting race action that OSCAAR brings to Mosport. The Outlaws will reach speeds of 130 mph on the straight stretch. The rumble and growl of their powerful engines as they circle the track in a pack will keep you on the edge of your seats!
Last season's first visit to Mosport was on June 26 and we witnessed a multi-car pile up on lap 3. John Fletcher and his JNE Consulting looked as if he took the worst of the accident. The team worked hard on the car to get the #61 Monte Carlo back out to limp around for points but John had other plans and drove it to a forth place finish. After two starts this year the battle between John's #61 JNE Consulting and the #49 have left the rest of the competitors wondering how the can be stopped.
