BROCKVILLE-The attention of the dirt racing world will be focussed on Brockville Ontario Speedway on Tuesday Night, June 21st. The fast quarter mile clay oval dubbed the Beast of the East will host the first event in this year's Super DIRT Series for 358 Modifieds. This will mark the first series race for the small blocks since the introduction of new rev limiters and aluminium heads designed to cut costs in the division.

A star studded field is expected for the 50 lap series opener where 2004 Brockville Ontario Speedway co-track champion Steve Paine is the defending champion. There have been four different winners at Brockville already this year with Danny and Pat O Brien, John Mulder and Rookie Kyle Dingwall all driving into victory lane with early season wins. Drivers such as Brett Hearn and Alan Johnson are always competitive at Brockville every time they pull in the gates.

In addition to the 358 Modifieds, BOS Street Stock and Rookie division cars will be in action. Time Trials for the 358 Modifieds are scheduled for 6:30 pm with the first heat rolling off the line at 7:30. Brockville Ontario Speedway is located just 11 kilometres North of Brockville on Country Road 29.

The Speedway would also like to announce that tickets for the Monster Truck Challenge on Sat July 30 and Sunday July 31 are now available. You can pick them up in person on race day at the main gate ticket sellers, order by phone or email with credit card. Advance Adult tickets are only $20 and Children 12 and under $10. A limited number of Advance tickets are on sale until Friday July 29th only. The track is also looking for donations of old cars that can be crushed in the two shows. A free ticket to see your car meet its demise will be awarded to anyone who donates a vechile.
