August 4, 2005, Mt. Albert, - Kerry Micks from Mt. Albert, Ontario, driving the Power Water Micks Motorsports 2005 Ford Taurus, is ready for a return at the CASCAR Super Series Mosport Speedway 200 Saturday night (August 6) at the high-speed, half-mile oval in Bowmanville, Ontario.

“We’ve had some good runs and we tested well at Mosport,” stated Micks. “Two seasons ago we were fortunate and won the event after a fierce battle with Donnie (Thomson Jr.).”

Micks, with three wins this season in the PowerWater Micks Motorsports Ford, sits in fourth position in the 2005 CASCAR Super Series Points Championship.

“We weren’t so lucky last year, when everything that could go wrong, did go wrong,” added Micks. “Time is running out in the race for the championship and we need to make up some ground in the PowerWater Ford this weekend.”

The CASCAR Super Series race will take place Saturday, August 6 at Mosport Speedway located north of Bowmanville, Ontario on the half-mile oval.
