KAWARTHA: Linc Brown announces limited '05 schedule

We're happy to announce work is underway to get # 99 back "on track". That's right 99 not 66. Unfortunately the plan to run the full Lucas WWS program and local ALSTAR shows did not pan out.

Despite our best efforts, negotiations extended far past a "do-able time frame". We were left looking at a year of playing catch-up or sitting on the trailer. Being racers, that situation was not acceptable. So to fulfill the summer-time Friday nights we are again pleased to promote our long time partner Kawartha Metals, "the candy store for welders", as our primary supporter at Kawartha Speedway for a limited schedule.

The Monte Carlo will retain the same color scheme and graphics as last year but the number will be turned right side up to read 99 as in previous years.
We are thankful for the continued support from associate supporters Don Butt AutoBody, Matthews Automotive NAPA (Port Hope and Colborne stores) and Port Perry Print. Our web site www.lbrownmotorsports.com hosted by Planetel Communications, and the Wolf 101.5 FM will keep you up-to-date on our schedule. Our website is not currently up to date so I've attached a schedule for your information.

With Lucas Oil supporting the series and Lucas Oil products in all of our drivetrain and bearing components, we expect to continue our lengthy record of "no mechanical DNF's" to continue in 2005. Lucas Oil has certainly helped all of the Ontario paved oval tracks promote "grass roots racing" and create an atmosphere that will draw more and more spectators to these exciting events.

I know summers are very busy for all of us but I truly hope you can make it out to the track to catch one our races.
