After 2 huge nights of racing on the long weekend the Barrie Speedway home series divisions hit the track again May 28 with the CARQUEST Late Models, St. Onge Recreation Thunder Cars and Yanch Heating & Air Conditioning Pure Stocks all in action.
Heading into this weekend's racing John Gaunt, Gord Shepherd and Brian Murray lead the way in the Standings. Murray has in fact gone two-for- two in the Pure Stock features (excluding Sunday's invitation) so we'll see if he can make it a hat trick this weekend.
The racing has been very exciting in all divisions, with the new, wider tri-oval producing some of the most memorable side-by-side battles we've seen in recent years at Barrie Speedway.
The spectator gates open at 5:30 on Saturday with the green flag dropping at 7pm sharp. See you there!
