TSN has a story about Jacques Villeneuve's NASCAR Nextel Cup debut at Talladega. From all accounts, the Canadian did it right, dropping to the back for the start and staying out of peoples' way as he gained experience.
He even got a positive review from Jeff Gordon, who was one of the harshest critics of Villeneuve making his Cup debut at Talladega.
