Speed Secrets adds new coaches

REDMOND, WA – Speed Secrets today announced that five new coaches have joined the company s network of professional motorsport coaches. Kees Nierop, Scott Leder, Allen Berg, Jonathan Bomarito and Ian Lacy bring added depth and breadth to the coaching services offered by Speed Secrets.


“We’re building the world’s largest network of professional race coaches,” said Ross Bentley, head coach for Speed Secrets. “As our business grows, we’re pleased to add coaches of this caliber to the Speed Secrets team.”

Nierop, who drove for the Porsche factory team at Le Mans in 1987, and Leder have extensive experience as drivers and coaches in Porsche series racing. Berg, who drove Formula 1 in 1985, is also an experienced coach. Both Lacy and Bomarito have a broad range of experience driving and coaching in a variety of racing series, and are very experienced in chassis engineering and data acquisition.

Speed Secrets now has 18 coaches working in a variety of series throughout United States, Canada and Australia.

“Kees and Scott increase our ability to support Porsche drivers,” said Bentley. “Allen brings us more depth at the highest levels of the sport. And Ian and Jonathan allow us to expand our one-on-one approach in a host of open-wheel series.”
