KONI: Predators ready for season finale

OTTAWA, ONTARIO - Predators Autosports is coming off a top five finish at the most recent round in Utah, and now they are in for their toughest challenge of the year.

"The season finale at Virginia International Raceway will be a tough challenge," Predators Autosports owner Steve Morris said. "The length alone - its six hours - makes it a very difficult race."

For the drivers Matt Pritiko and Robert Boyer, the challenge is mostly the same except for a few differences. "The key here is to stay out of trouble, and try to conserve the brakes as much as possible," Pritiko said.

"The second half of the year has been very strong for us so far and it would be great to end the season on a high note with a solid finish in the finale," Pritiko added.

Also helping the team this weekend is that the races are split. The ST class race that the Predators Autosports Cobalt SS will contest will run on Saturday at 2:00 pm.

"There's going to be a strong field here, with some teams looking at the championship, and some looking at winning. We're in this one for the win," Pritiko added.
