
Canada opened veteran drummer John Davison acknowledged Wednesday that the biggest challenge his team will struggle to counter reverse swing devastating Pakistan on Thursday's World Cup clash.
Canada lost to Sri Lanka by 210 points and was also manhandled by 175 runs against Zimbabwe to leave their penultimate Group A with only Kenya beneath them.
The 40-year-old Davison, the oldest player in this World Cup, said his team has made plans for swing bowling of Pakistan.
"We have not played before, but they know they are a great team with a varied attack, in addition to reading their mills, the greatest challenge in the subcontinent is expected to play reverse twist," said Davison said.
"We saw the game in Kenya's deadly peace is not used, so we have a plan," said Davison, Sri Lanka Paceman Lasith Malinga 6-38 in his team's nine-wicket win Kenya on Tuesday.
