MacLeod looking to retain momentum at Cayuga

August 10, 2005, Innisfil, ON – Running the Central Merchant Services Ford Taurus, 32 year-old MacLeod Racing team driver Tara MacLeod from Innisfil, Ontario, is focusing on a good finish at Cayuga Speedway this Sunday.

“I’ve never had much of a chance to race at Cayuga, but a good finish there would be very important to the Central Merchant Services Team”, said Tara MacLeod. “Every week we are getting closer to securing the PowerWater Rookie of the Year Championship and with four races to go in the season every week is important.”

MacLeod currently leads the PowerWater CASCAR Super Series Rookie of the year standings, and is 13th in the 2005 CASCAR Super Series Points Championship.

“Cayuga has always been an icon in Canadian Motorsports,” added MacLeod. “I have watched many Super Stars at Cayuga over the years and I’ve always said it is one of my favorite race tracks.”

The CASCAR Super Series race will take place Sunday, August 14 at Cayuga Speedway located in Nelles Corners, Ontario on the 5/8th-mile oval.
