Cayuga NASCAR event next stop for Team Fastline

HAMILTON, ON– Jeff and Jim Lapcevich of Fastline Motorsports are optimistic about their chances of winning in the upcoming NASCAR Canadian Tire Series stock car race this weekend at Cayuga Speedway.

“We always look forward to racing at Cayuga,” explained Jeff Lapcevich, one of the Hamilton-based Team Fastline drivers. “The track is close to home, and we always have lots friends, family, sponsors, and fans there to cheer us on.”

The green flag will drop for the Subway 200 Saturday, September 1 at 8:00 p.m. Brother Jim Lapcevich is also looking for a good showing at Cayuga.

“Cayuga has always been one of my favorite spots on the racing circuit,” said Jim Lapcevich. “We had a strong run at the Mosport oval a few weeks ago and I’m optimistic that we can have another good showing,” he added. “The AP Racing Engine combination has been stout in the EMCEA Transport – Tim Hortons Monte Carlo, and hopefully the driver can earn his keep and finish up front.”

The Subway 200 presented by Sicard Holiday Campers at Cayuga Speedway is race nine in the 12-race NASCAR Canadian Tire Series on the 5/8ths-mile paved oval in Nelles Corners, Ontario.
