Mazda Canada official partner of Twofast Racing

MONTREAL, September 19, 2007 – Twofast Racing and driver-co-owner Christian Raymond are proud to announce Mazda Canada will officially partner the team until the end of the 2007 season. Mazda Canada will primarily sponsor Christian Raymond, who races a Mazda Protégé in the Castrol Canadian Touring Car Championship in ST class and in the Hankook Quebec Championship.
Christian Raymond is delighted by Mazda Canada’s return as official partner. “It’s an honour and a great pleasure to welcome back Mazda Canada as part of our team,” confides Raymond. “We’ve invested a lot of efforts in our Mazda program over the past years, and it’s almost a consecration to receive the manufacturer’s support to keep developing. We want to give very special thanks to Mr. Robert Landry of Mazda Canada for making this possible.”

Raymond sees here a great opportunity to enhance Mazda’s brand in Canada. “Mazda always been recognized for their racing involvement,” says Raymond. “I have a lot of fun behind the wheel of my Protégé, and with Mazda’s support, we’ll be able to make it even faster.”

Mazda Canada will lend logistic and financial support to Twofast’s Mazda program. Christian Raymond, currently fifth in the Castrol Championship, will be the main beneficiary of the manufacturer’s support for the last two races of the season and for the Quebec Hankook Championship’s Fall Classic in Mont-Tremblant, where a second Mazda will be entered. This race will take place in Mont-Tremblant this weekend.

Twofast would also like to thank all of its partners for their support: Rythme Urbain, Rack ‘N’ Roll, Mazdaspeed, Mazda Canada, InMotion, MOTUL, Bocké, AWR, COBB Tuning, Rire en Cœur, Rêves d’enfants, mazdatuning.com.
