SASKATOON, SK - The biggest race of the 2007 race season will take place this weekend at Auto Clearing Motor Speedway. Top drivers from Western Canada and the North Mid West USA will be here to compete for the NEWALTA Late Model Challenge Points Final and the Border Challenge.
The race will feature past local champions such as Jim Gaunt, Trent Seidel, Glen Hertzke, Dave Bone and current points leader Craig Ball. Additional contenders will include Chris Skelton, Dean Craig, Garth Hazelhurst and Trevor Emond (who has won 2 NEWALTA feature races this season).
Also on the card at ACMS will be the local Tiger Automotive Street Stock Division Points Final. Local Driver and Points Leader Bryan Johnson will be out to take home another championship.
Races are set for 6 PM with the gates opening to the public at 4:30. Tickets are available, in advance, at any Mac's Convenience store in Saskatoon and Prince Albert.
