Kawartha Durham Kart Club to be featured on CHEX TV Peterborough this Friday

CHEX TV will be at Kawartha Downs and Speedway Friday August 21st to do a feature on the club, their relationship with Kawartha Speedway and to highlight their much anticipated new track that has been incorporated into the existing super fast straights and high speed banking of the speedway. The new paving and track set up as designed by Derek Lynch with technical assistance from Enzo Chiovitti from 3S Go-Karts and Paul Cooke of ASN Canada FIA, will provide more high speed technical sections and will allow for additional configurations.

“The new track layout is fantastic. At almost 1km long it will be one of the best courses for new karters to learn their race craft”, Paul Evans, president of the club. “We are grateful to Mr. Chiovitti and to Paul Cooke of ASN for their technical expertise and being featured on local television and seen by literally thousands of potential racers will show everyone that we’re doing it right”, says Evans.
