In recent days, 2006 CASCAR Super Series champion J.R. Fitzpatrick and series front-runner DJ Kennington announced that they would be participating in the new Ontario Sportsman Series when their NASCAR Canadian Tire Series schedules permit.
Today came news that Steve Robblee and his son Matt will both be full-time competitors in the OSS in 2007. This series has gone from nowhere to 'must see' racing in a month. Wow.
The OSS will host a drivers' meeting this Saturday (March 31) at 11 .m. at Hot Rods Restaurant in Milton, Ontario (120 Chisholm Drive, just south of the 401. Exit at KM marker 320). For more info, contact Ron Lethbridge at (705) 739-4686 or e-mail him at: jarracing0950@sympatico.ca
