Shooting of ‘Bbuddah’ (Hoga Teraa Baap) directed by Puri Jagannath and jointly produced on the banner of Viacom18 and AB Corporation was formally launched at Khoja Bungalow in Versova of Mumbai.
Director Puri Jagannath broke the coconut and offered the puja for the formal launch. Later the muhurat shot was picturised on Sonu Sood. Abhishek Bachchan, Aiswarya Rai Bachchan, Sonali Chouhan attended the inaugural as chief guests.
Amitabh in blog stated ‘The story narrated for ‘Buddah’ was excellent. All the dialogues were quite thrilling. I am eagerly waiting to take part in the shooting. This would be another big commercial hit.’
Director Puri Jagannath says, ‘I am a big fan of Amitabh since my childhood. I am very happy for getting an opportunity to direct my favourite hero, that too for a sensational movie like ‘Bbuddah’. Amitabh would take part in the shooting from March 11 and the film would be shot non-stop and it would be completed in a single schedule.’
The director is planning to release the film in 2011 itself.
Amitabh Bachchan, Hemamalini, Ravina Tandon, Sonu Sood, Sonal Chouhan, Charmme, Prakashraj, Subbaraju, Shevar Ali and others are in the cast.
Music is by Vishaal-Shekhar, action is by Vijay, editing is by SR Sekhar, background music is by Anup Rubens, while story, screenplay, dialogues and direction are by Puri Jagannath.
